Williams Wastewater Treatment Plant Headworks and Primary Clarifier Replacement, Board of Water & Sewer Commissioners, Mobile County, AL., Provided instrumentation and control design for monitoring and automation of the new plant headworks and primary clarifiers in Mobile, Alabama. System includes PC-based distributed control. Personally responsible for selections and specification of instruments, design of system control logic

 

Key Largo Wastewater Treatment District Treatment Facility Expansion & Upgrade, Key Largo, Monroe County, Florida. Provided instrument design for monitoring and automation of a waste water treatment facility in Monroe County, Florida. Three Sequence Batch Reactors (SBRs) tanks were added to increase the existing treatment plant capacity. System includes PC-based distributed control. Personally responsible for power load calculations, selections and specification of instruments, design of plant control logic

Tailings Dams, International Mineral Corporation (IMC),Florida.  IE’s Francisco Silva served on a board of consultants for a geotechnical safety program covering over 50 tailing dams for IMC’s Florida phosphate operations.

ThyssenKrupp Steel, Inc., Calvert, Alabama.  Provided design for the site medium and low voltage power distribution. Personally responsible for routing and sizing manholes and conduits for the entire medium and low voltage system for the steel and stainless steel plants.
